Gig History

The Wireless are in constant demand for clients wanting a versatile cover band for weddings and parties in Plymouth and Cornwall. The three band members have a wealth of experience between them, having played for some of the region’s top bands over the last 20 years, including Joey The Lips, Sha-Gov, The Retreat and Lazy Eye. Individually and collectively they have performed in most of the regions top venues, including Plymouth Pavilions, Cornwall Coliseum and the National Marine Aquarium. Festivals and other outdoor appearances range from several live shows to thousands of people on Plymouth Hoe in the mid 1990s and Glastonbury 2000 to more recent outings at the Maker Sunshine and Newt Beer Festivals. In 2008 the Wireless were contracted to play at one of Europes top music bars, Waynes Bar in Nice France. Versatility is the key to The Wireless’ popularity: not many bands can please crowds at an exclusive wedding at the Old Sarum in Salisbury Cathedral one week and then crank up the party vibe to revelers at the Cornish Cyder Farm the next week!
